Jewel Mische revealed that she and her family flew last October from the United States to the Philippines, and that they have been staying in the country for ministry opportunities.

The US-based former actress disclosed this while showing a photo of her with her American husband Alister Kurzer and their three daughters during their flight to Davao, through her Instagram page on Monday, Jan. 20.

“Our family has been keeping a little secret! We are in the Philippines!” she said. “We have some ministry opportunities here that we just couldn’t pass up.”

Mische said their family has been spoiled with love, spiritual blessings and abundance of Filipino foods, even quipping how she does not want to return to the US anymore.

Mische then expressed her longing for her Luzon-based friends, saying she wants to meet them before their return flight that is scheduled in a few weeks.

“Hindi pa lang po ako makapag-reach out dahil sa mga commitments namin dito simula pa pag dating namin, saka nahihiya din po ako doon sa iba sa inyo. Pero sana mangyari pa din before we head back [to the US] in a few weeks!” she said.

Mische and Kurzer got married in 2015. They welcomed their first child in 2018, the second one in 2020, and their youngest daughter in 2021.
