The tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to clash with the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 and the player draft for the new season will be held in Gwadar city of Balochistan on January 11, 2025. (More Cricket News)

Pakistan is hosting the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 which will be played in the month of February and March with India playing all of their matches in Dubai, UAE. This led to the shift in the schedule of PSL this year and now Pakistan's T20 franchise cricket will start on 8 April and conclude on 19 May 2025.

India's IPL 2025 will start on March 14 this year and will conclude on 25 May. World's biggest T20 franchise cricket tournament will start just five days after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already opened the registration and trade window for foreign players for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 earlier this month.

So far, as many as 22 players have registered for the players draft including New Zealand's Martin Guptill, Daryl Mitchell, Colin Munro and England's Jason Roy, Luke Wood, Dawid Malan, David Willey and Australia's Alex Carey, Usman Khawaja, Sean Abbott and Matthew Short.

According to the pick order announced, Lahore Qalandars will have the first pick in the platinum category, followed by Karachi Kings. Quetta Gladiators will have the third pick, while Peshawar Zalmi will take the fourth pick in the player draft for the highly anticipated PSL 10.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has stated that Multan Sultans will make the fifth pick in the platinum category, and Islamabad United will have the last pick in this category.
