Asked to bat first, Strikers amassed 182 runs on the board thanks to an unbeaten 75-run knock from the wicketkeeper batter Zakir Hasan and Rony Talukdar's 56 runs while opening the batting.

Khulna Tigers started well but lost some wickets in the middle. Mohammad Nawaz and Mahidul Islam Ankon added crucial runs in between to keep them in the game but they failed to reach the target by eight runs in the end.
